Bitter is cool. Made in collaboration with Holden's - a 113 year old family run brewery from deepest darkest Dudley - this beer looks to bring the trad style of Black Country Bitter to the, as Holden's call them, 'hipsters' of Digbeth and beyond.
Amber/orange in colour a dry bitter palate gives way to a punchy hoppy finish that those more accustomed to super high ratio DDH pale ales would be used to. Heavily dry hopped and with a hop bill consisting of Simcoe, Summit, Citra and Mosaic this is a long way away from the days of Fuggles and First Gold. New car, roast dinners and mint sauce.
