Todella paahteinen, ei ehkä helpoin stout mutta alun jälkeen oikein monivivahteinen ja maukas kokonaisuus

Opaque, jet black beer with moderate, rapid carbonation unleashes a fawn, sponge-like head that exceeds one finger and settles very slowly down to a dense layer on the surface. The withdrawing foam leaves no traces on the glass.
The fragrance displays hefty roasted malt, a good amount of salty licorice and strong licorice root. Rye malt and rye flour follow behind.
The tongue enjoys the reasonably prominent salty licorice. A massive roasty aroma occupies every nook of the mouth. Malt is also roasted, even burned to some extent. A tad licorice root, distant aniseed and a little dollop of overstayed black coffee accompany the taste in the background.
The body is light-medium. The beer ends with somewhat bitter licorice and burned malt. A remote note of cough syrup follows in the distance. The aftertaste stays in mouth for a rather long time.
The mouthfeel is strong, heavily roasty and somewhat burned. It's also dryish and slightly medicinal.
Accompanies nicely baked potato with cold-smoked salmon and cold-smoked reindeer.
