Made from 100% Normandy pears (12 varieties) grown and harvested near the Chateau de Sassy.
Crisp with subtle acidity and a smooth effervescence, balancing perfectly with the pear’s natural sugar. Best enjoyed as an apéritif or alongside fish, seafood and light chocolate desserts.

330ml clear glass, crown cap; pours a clear and bright, almost brilliant, dark straw to light golden, petillant, gentle white head when pouring, disappears quickly; on the nose freshly squeezed apple juice, sweet and fruity, lemony acidity in the background, gentle, yet juicy; in the mouth soft yet intensely fruity, hints of pears mingle with lemon drops, residual sweetness balances well with citrussy notes, sharp sparkle across the throat, finish is quick, but aftertaste lingers with a ripe pear character that invites another sip; overall a well balanced great low ABV French poiré, which brings the French countryside directly into your glass – la vie en rose

Possibly the best cider I’ve ever tasted. Light, sweet, refreshing and tasty. Two lovely Frenchmen running the stand, 10/10
