A Munich-style Dunkel with a malt backbone that stands tall and confident in a presence of a clean, crisp, subtle hop profile. This brew is mildly sweet with a nutty and toasty maltiness that is dead on. The Deadwood Dunkel is one of our favorite brews in our lineup.

The only wrong thing with this beer is its marketing as a Pilsner. I would describe it as a Schwarzbier, sweet, malty, rich, slightly burned aftertaste, generally delicious.

Really nice dark Pilsner with the right amount of malts and hops. Especially enjoyable with a view over the Elk Mountains from Pine Creek Cookhouse.
