This was hyped up as THE beer to try at the local craft beer festival. Admittedly there wasn't much that sounded more unique so I have no regrets. I'm not sure what lavender is supposed to taste like, since I don't typically consume flowers, but I'm pretty sure this isn't it. There's a mild scent of lavender before you sip it, but once the beer is in your mouth, it's quickly overpowered by the hops, leaving you feel a bit disappointed with a very generic beer.
