Outdoor activity again 🪵🪓 The beer pours limpid, chestnut brown. A silky beige head grows one finger tall and dissipates soon to an impressive lace ring. Roasted malt, a bit of caramel and a wisp of smoke in the air. Perhaps a faintly resinous twist in the background, too. The taste profile is neatly smoky and light-roasty: smoked malt, roasted rye, bitter caramel and a bit of resin. Enjoyable. The body is light. The finish is identical to upfront. The mouthfeel is light, smoky, roasty, somewhat dry and drying. This beerstyle crosses my path far too seldom.
