The Veltins Pilsener is another one of the great German pilseners. Notable for its clean and crisp quality and loads of flavour, this lager is brewed using natural spring water from its own mountain!
This German pilsener is crystal clear with lots of effervescent carbonation that make its light golden colour sparkle. Whilst light bodied and very easy to drink, the Veltins Pilsener still has a bold flavour that is dominated by a long lingering hop bitterness.

Ganz schön dunkel - auf der Terrasse - nicht das Bier! Letzteres ist ein solides aber letzter recht langweiliges Standardbier - schön frisch im Antrunk, danach kommt kaum etwas - gegen den Durst geht das allemal, aber richtige Freude kommt nicht auf. Kleines prost!

Die Standard-Pils Tour wird fortgesetzt mit dem Veltins Pilsner, wobei man sich wie beim Hasseröder den Luxus der geprägten Flasche gönnt... Ob das Bier auch so viel Luxus im Trinkgefühl verkörpert? Kurz gesagt: nein. Aber es ist ein absolut rundes Pilsner, ohne große Schwächen aber mir ein bisschen zu milde. Ich finde es noch dazu überdurchschnittlich sprudelig, ob das jetzt gut oder schlecht ist - keine Ahnung.
