Totally impenetrable, deep yellow beer with rich, medium-lasting carbonation builds a pure white, soft fluffy head that initially exceeds one finger. The foamy cap shrinks gradually to an uneven, melting cover on the beer's surface.
The scent is slightly farmhousey with a bit stale, fermented citrus and unfruity grapefruit. A grassy nuance merges with truly faint coriander in the shadows.
The tongue tries to escape from the strongly sour citrus that can be recognized as very harsh, raw grapefruit. A bite of lemongrass, grated lemon peel and wheat flour can also be detected. Identifiable notes of pine and drying hay season the otherwise coarse fruity palate.
The body is light-medium. The finish offers the same elements as upfront, sourness and bitterness are, nevertheless, rather powerful. Alcohol steps discreetly forward in the finish. The aftertaste teases the tastebuds for a long time.
The mouthfeel is really tart and a tad crisp, quite dry as well as mouth-drying. It's also a bit subtropical, husky and mildly juicy. Furthermore, the mouthfeel is slightly earthy, moderately stale and notably unfresh. Not easy this one either.
