Impenetrably foggy, deep yellow beer with abundant, fizzy, medium-sustained head that seeds a dense silky, clean white head that climbs to one finger. The foamy lid keeps the precious aromas well protected in the liquid itself for remarkably long.
The nose almost passes out because of the delicious fruitiness. Pomelo, whose presence one can guess by reading the name and whose aroma lingers neatly between sweet and sour, is truly hefty. Other citruses include grapefruit, blood grapefruit and lime.
The taste offers its best juicy nuances. Massive zesty pomelo shakes hands firmly with grapefruit and lemon, perhaps a tiny bit of lime, too. The easily detectable wheaty note is amended by distant soft fruity yeast.
The body can be placed between light and light-medium. The beer ends with really juicy pomelo, squeezed lemon pulp, harsher lemon peel and zesty grapefruit. Medium-sour citrus juice is a neat description of this beer.
The mouthfeel is fresh like awakening spring, really juicy and somewhat subtropical. A tad tartness, distant crispness and mouthwatering freshness are truly amazing.
Awesome! Among the best saisons (this is actually a Grisette) I've ever tasted. Very close to perfection; I should give 4.7 but maybe I round it downwards and subtract half a star from the maximum for an even better Saison which, I'm sure, is there waiting for me.
