Totally hazy, yellow beer with faint green hue and surprisingly restrained, short-lived carbonation creates a moderate half-a-finger, pure white, velvety head that soon descends to a still beautiful, whipped-creamy foamy ring of significantly longer duration.
The scent is very fruity, fresh tropical. The key pillars are citruses, in particular lemon and lemon peel as well as bags of grapefruit, all amended by zesty sour passionfruit. A distant whisper of dill emanates in the air bringing a faint vegetal impression to the otherwise tart fruity package. A mild hint of brettanomyces lingers in the mid-scent.
The tongue falls in love with the unique mix of thin brettanomyces and very subtle dill. A combination that is very rare but seems to work pretty nicely. Lemon, grapefruit and lemon peel, in turn, are relatively watery although the sourness kicks strongly the tastebuds. A bit of fresh-cut grass can also be identified among the nuances.
The light-bodied beer ends with watery sour lemon juice, coarse lemon peel and the still recognizeable brettanomyces. Dill is absent in the finish which otherwise rolls in the mouth for quite some time.
The mouthfeel is light, very tart and relatively puckering. It's also really fresh, very gardeny and extraordinarily summery.
