Smells a bit like soil. Hmm. Color is very black. Taste has grapefruit to it, along with a bit roastiness. Funny thing, first sip I took had no IPA elements but second was full IPA flavor. It even smells like pine now. Is it just me... I wonder. I think I compare the BIPAs too much to Tempest Brewing's In the Dark we live which is a top notch BIPA. This however, is okay but not great.
