Good roasty stout with chocolate, coffee, and some carmel, lite bitterness on the backend.

Beer has very stout taste very tart but good tasting beer

Enjoying a Sunday night football game with my son-in-law. About to try a Russian Imperial Stout. Nice full chocolate head, lasting. Pours heavy and thick. Aroma giving a molasses sweet dark chocolate. Heavy but not syrupy texture, somewhat crisp. Starts bittersweet, unrefined strong South Florida molasses, dark raw cocoa. As the finish sets in, the sweet characteristics fade away leaving a bitter deep roast coffee, texture turns dry. Alcohol shows mostly during the finish. At first I thought this was a simple and uncomplicated beer, but it became more complex as it warmed. I could enjoy having this as a brew to set back and try again year after year.

Nice brown head that last, good lacing, heavy but smooth, black, good coffee hints, bitter chocolate hints, but good would drink again.
