Murky, jet black beer from cask unlocks a fawn, whipped-creamy head that failst to exceed half a finger. The foam soon melts down to a hair-thin lace ring. The fragrance releases dark chocolate, some black coffee and a burned aroma.
The palate is thin and dry, granting bitter coffee, burned coffee beans, a bit of raw chocolate and a pinch of cocoa powder. The light-bodied brew ends long with dry burned aftertaste with nuances of coffee beans and ashtray.
The mouthfeel is relatively dry, somewhat roasty, a bit ashy, rather light and even slightly watery.
