Coopers Best Extra Stout beschließt das Verkostungs-Duo und zwar pechschwarz und mit einer mittleren, karamellbeigen Krone. Der Duft erfreut nicht nur mit Kaffee und nussigen Anklängen, sondern auch mit einem Hauch Rübensaft, Tabak und Schwarztee. Der Antrunk hält der Nase zwar stand, ist aber etwas prickelnder und rustikaler als erwartet rund und gediegen. Mit etwas Standzeit und Temperatur nähern sich die Aromen der erschnupperten Komplexität. Der Körper dürfte etwas dichter sein und zeigt von Antrunk bis Mitte kleine Lücken. Mir gefällt, dass das Stout nicht nach rundgelutschtem Mainstream schmeckt, sondern Charakter zeigt.
