Finally a bit of holiday, and so I went straight to the birthplace of my favorite brewery: Braugarten Forst! This time I was thirsty so I went with their Heller Bock. It features a pale gold color with thick foam head. To the nose there are grassy notes. The mouthfeel is intense and quite bitter and slightly sour. The aftertaste is so refreshing, without being overwhelmed by the high alcohol content. Overall I'm not a big fan of Heller Bocks but I enjoyed this one, and drinking it where it's actually made, is definitely a plus!
